As part of the Curaçao Business Information Center of the Curaçao Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Trade Point Curaçao offers the following services:

The electronic information resources available at the Center provide access to high quality international trade information, and are meant to present business information on Curaçao and local companies to a worldwide audience. Being part of the Global Trade Point Network, World Trade Centers Association network and World Chambers Net, the Center is uniquely positioned to provide international trade exposure to local companies.
Market Research and Analysis
Effective desk research requires that relevant resources are available at the researchers finger tips. Our Information Support Service Desk offers research using the collection of information material in the library of the Center. To make our research work more complete we use external databases and contacts.
Documentation is available in the following forms:* Photocopies of articles, country reports etc.
* References to books and articles
* Print outs from external data basesFees are based on time spent for research, photocopy charges, telefax, e-mail, postage etc. (Price list available upon request).
Library services
The library of the Curaçao Business Information Center contains more than 5000 documents. It offers a wide range of resources for effective desk research. The library comprises a broad collection of trade related publications that focus on the markets of the Caribbean, the Americas, Europe, the Far East and the Netherlands Antilles.
The library is divided into the following sections:
Country information
General; Europe; Central, North, and South America; Far East; Caribbean; The Netherlands Antilles and Curaçao and The Netherlands. Country information includes profiles, containing relevant economic information and information on doing business with the specific country, information on companies, contacts, business directories and yellow pages.
Magazines, newsletters and periodicals
Magazines include: Business Week, the Economist, Consumer Report, Elan, Fact, the Courier, Caribbean Export, Entrepreneur Magazine, etc. Newsletters of many local and international organizations, and local and foreign newspapers.
Business Opportunities Publications
Catalogs, magazines, letters of foreign companies seeking local representatives.
Educational publications
Topics include marketing, management, export, business plan, and human resource management
International Events
We keep a file of many international activities.
CD-ROMS
Business databases, export information, encyclopedias, etc.
Internet
Visiting entrepreneurs and other interested visitors can use the Center??s Internet facilities.
Opening hours
The library is accessible for traders, exporters, importers, researchers and everyone else who is interested in trade-related information. The library is open from Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. ?? 4:00 p.m..
Access to the information
The documentation, consisting of books, trade directories, reference material, market surveys/reports, annual reports, country profiles/reports, statistics, magazines, journals, periodicals and other trade-related matters, may be used free of charge in the study area in the library of The Curaçao Business Information Center. Upon request, our Information Support Service Desk can also provide commissioned research.
The collection of the library will soon be accessible through an on-line electronic catalogue, provided in the library. This user-friendly catalogue will be searchable by author/editor, title, keyword and ISBN/ISSN number. The Business Information Officers will be available to assist customers in using the on-line electronic catalogue or finding their way in the library.
